3 Years Teaching Expirience
Hi! I’m Brooklyn Conner, and I’ve been singing since I was four.
Music has always been central to my life—I grew up surrounded by it, with parents who are professional ballroom dancers, and I’ve been part of my church’s worship team since childhood. I’ve explored every genre, and singing quickly became my favorite way to express myself and connect with others.
I’m inspired to teach because I’ve seen firsthand how music builds confidence, sparks creativity, and opens doors. A defining moment for me was being chosen—after a long audition process—as the only student from my elementary school to represent it in the city’s honor choir. Through amazing musical theater teachers and choir directors, I learned the value of being supported, encouraged, and challenged at a young age—and that’s exactly what I strive to give my students. I’ve been recognized by the AT&T/Frisco Arts Association and awarded the Bette Emerson Scholarship for voice and music, honors I dedicate to the teachers who helped me achieve them.
Beyond teaching, I’m a singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist, playing acoustic guitar, ukulele, and piano. I write and record music with my partner, who produces music for artists and films and leads worship with me at church. I love exploring new styles, performing, studying music theory, and writing lyrics whenever inspiration strikes. Staying creative fuels me, and I’m excited to bring that same energy and curiosity into every lesson.
