I was born in a musical family, but non-professional. I am the only professional musician in my family. My entire educational journey took place in Brazil. My former university was the Federal University of Parana (UFPR), where I got my Master's in Musicology. I am a Doctoral student now, DMA in Voice Performance with Early Music as related field.
I used to have a medieval group in Brazil, and I miss that a lot. In my free time, I like watching TV series and going out exploring around Denton. My favorite thing about living in Texas is the size of everything - it's much larger than everywhere else!
Be persistent. Music is like feelings, some days are harder and some days are easier. Keep practicing and you'll feel better as musician and as a person too.
