Piano lessons are a great option for a large range of ages! For beginners ages 4 to 9 we do recommend you start with our introductory piano classes. (https://www.destinystudiomckinney.net/group-piano-classes)However, we also offer lessons for older children, teens, and adults, making piano an accessible instrument for anyone interested in learning, regardless of their age. Tailored approaches ensure that each student receives instruction appropriate for their skill level and interests.

No prior experience is needed! Our lessons are designed for beginners as well as more advanced students.

While having a piano or keyboard at home is highly recommended for practice, it's not strictly necessary to start lessons. If you don't have one yet, you might consider starting with a smaller keyboard. However, having access to an instrument will help reinforce what you learn in lessons and improve your skills faster!

We welcome parents to observe lessons, especially for younger students, to stay engaged in their child’s progress.

Our lessons are tailored to each student’s interests and goals. Our goal is for all students to be comfortable playing a verity of styles. We teach anything from classical, blues, jazz, country or pop!
